Donations...

The thrift store accepts donations of clothing, collectibles, accessories, furniture and household furnishings. We like to say "If you would give it to your sister, we would be happy to have you donate it to help our cause!"

Donation Hours...

Donations are accepted during the hours listed below or by appointment. Please Note! It is unlawful to leave donations outside of the specified donation hours.

• Monday...Donations accepted from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM.
• Tuesday...Donations accepted from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM.
• Wednesday...Donations accepted from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM.
• Thursday...Donations accepted from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM.
• Friday...Donations accepted from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM.
• Saturday...Donations accepted from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM.
• Sunday...No donations accepted

Pick-Up / Delivery Services...

Pick-up and delivery services are available for furniture items only. Speak with the Thrift Store Manager at 301-949-5731 to arrange for pick-up or delivery.

Items We Cannot Take...

Due to recommendations by the Consumer Product Safety Commission as well as space limitations, we are unable to take the following items:

• Curtains, Curtain Rods, Blinds, Mini-Blinds
• Exercise Equipment
• Some Electronics (Including but not limited to...Computers, keyboards, mice, monitors, modems, printers, Typewriters, TVs, microwaves, fax machines, etc.)
• humidifiers, dehumidifiers
• Medical Equipment, crutches, wheelchairs, canes, walkers, etc.
• Rusted bicycles, bicycle helmets, motorcycle helmets, etc.
• Cribs, playpens, carriers, highchairs, strollers, car seats, booster seats, swings, etc.
• Lawnmowers, weed whackers, seed/fertilizer spreaders, etc.
• Text Books, magazines, encyclopedias
• Mattresses, Box Springs, pillows
• personal care products
• records, 8 tracks
• any item that is stained, smells, torn, ripped or dirty

Case by case items...

We take the following items on a case by case basis. If you are not sure if we can take your donation please call the Thrift Shop Manager at 301-949-5731 for more information.

• Sofas, loveseats
• children's toys (this is due to recent product recalls)
• stuffed toys
• Office Furniture
• Decorative Pillows
